Membership in the Council runs through the end of December each year. All membership renewals and new members must complete a membership application and submit the application WITH payment to the Treasurer. The Treasurer can accept applications and payments at the General Council meeting or by mail to PO Box 203, Mount Vernon, VA 22121. See the annual dues notice for more information. If you have read the dues notice and have additional questions, please contact the Treasurer.
Please do not mail the membership application and payment separately! They should be received by December 31.
Each member association is encouraged to designate a person to be the representative to each of the standing committees: Budget & Finance, Consumer Affairs, Education, Environment & Recreation, Health & Human Services, Planning & Zoning, Public Safety, and Transportation. Only representatives from member associations have a right to speak at meetings and only members can vote. At the discretion of the presiding Chair, non-members might be allowed to speak.
